Young Men’s Hebrew Association is established.

Founded by young people at Temple Ohabei Shalom, it is the first of its kind in Boston. After temporarily disbanding, the organization reforms and meets at Minot Hall, moves to Seaver Street in 1911, and merges with the Hecht House in 1959.
